On my '97 Riviera, you simply make a small jumper wire (even a paperclip would probably do) and jump Pin 8 to Pin 4 on the Data Line Connector under the left side of the dash, where scan-tools are hooked up... Then you turn the key on, hold down your buttons on each transmitter, and remove the jumper. I can't guarantee it, so no warranty is implied or granted, but given the limitations on the pin assignments by the OBD-II standards, I would think that all the GM's that need the jumper wire trick would use the same two pin numbers... Programing the GM Key Fobs worked, I had asked the Chevy dealer how much to reprogram my key fob, they told me $50.00, because I had to have the chip rescanned, They must think everyone is stupid, there is nothing in the fob to hook up to to rescan. So I found your instructions and It worked fine on our 2001 Chevy Blazer. Thanks guys. I really don’t like being lied to….
